Photographer's note: I stopped at a rest stop along the edge of the Bonneville Salt Flats on a winter morning. It was hard to tell what was snow on the ground and what was salt. The light of sun rising behind me made the tree and the bench even more orange. I was intrigued by the contrast between the warm orange objects in the foreground and the cool blues of the dry lake and the sky. Photographed with a Kodak Z1012 IS, 1/125 at F2.8, ISO 64.
